In honor of Canada time which simply passed (July 1st) and since i am the homeowner Canadian at We like Dates, i decided to share with you the my favourite passionate getaways in my own “home and indigenous land.” Whether you’re looking for a mountain adventure or a cosmopolitan city experience, Canada provides almost everything. Below are a few of my “must-see” places.
Seeking the quintessential Rocky hill holiday? Banff, Alberta is where it is at. Stay at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise and relish the stunning, postcard-like landscapes.
2. Victoria â
Located on extreme area off the West Coast of Canada, Victoria is actually packed with activities to do and intimate areas to see. If you enjoy eating delicious food (the area fish rocks !), extended strolls in the beach and gorgeous scenery, Victoria is the perfect place for your needs.
3. Tofino â
Love browsing? Love good coastline holiday? Would you like to spend weekend holed right up in an attractive & old-fashioned cabin? Head to Tofino, BC and experience among the better Canada is offering.
4. Quebec City â
Perfect for romantics & record buffs alike, Quebec City is amongst the oldest European agreements in the united states. Roaming across 400 yr old cobble stone streets on the area, is like you have been carried to France. The food is actually incredible in Quebec City, which makes it an ideal getaway if you value old world elegance and neighborhood French delicacies.
5. Okanagan Valley â
Hailed as actually Canada’s answer to Napa Valley, it’s hard not to fall for the Okanagan Valley’s spectacular dusty mountains, 83-mile long lake and ample vineyards. Remain at one of many region’s many holiday resorts and spend the afternoons touring many vineyards while basking from inside the sun.
6. Niagara on Lake â
Situated on the Niagara peninsula, this lovely small town is actually Niagara Fall’s classier sister. If you’d prefer drink like i really do, Niagara from the Lake is home to some of the finest vineyards in Canada. Once you get tired of ingesting drink (I’m sure it seems impossible), Niagara in the Lake supplies horse drawn carriage rides and tons of fabulous restaurants.
7. Montreal â
If you like large, cosmopolitan places and should enjoy old-world European allure, Montreal will certainly impress. Should you get sick and tired of all the amazing cafes, designer shopping and regional society, the 400-year outdated architecture in Old Montreal will make you feel just like you’re briefly trans hookupported to France. You will need to discover it to think it.
8. Whistler â
Some sort of class ski-resort in wintertime, in the summertime several months Whistler is the perfect location to visit should you want to cycle in the day, and snuggle up during the hot-tob at night.
9. Vancouver â
The most perfect combination of city and character, Vancouver is a wonderful mix of big-city life, beach, hills with a Pacific Rim spin. Consume Dim Sum each morning, select a seaside bike drive in mid-day and still have enough time at night for luxe ocean-side supper and cocktails.
10. Prince Edward Island â
The home of Anne of Green Gables, this charming isle off of the eastern Coast of Canada hosts attractive surroundings and coastlines. Stay at one of the many gorgeous B & B’s or take a look at the Delvay by Sea oceanfront vacation resort, eat some Lobster and revel in an intimate, seaside vacation.
